Kevin has been in the trenches and knows how it feels when a new product development growth engine sputters and top and bottom line growth begins to slip. He led the transformation of development teams from producing “me-too” products to launching “game-changing” products both as a senior executive in charge of new product development and as business consultant working with both established firms and early stage companies.
Kevin served as VP of Research & Development at Varitronic Systems, Inc., the Director of Product Management at SeaSpace Corp, and Academic Coordinator for innovation and new product development studies at UCSDX. Kevin started his career in the Silicon Valley as an electronic engineer.
Kevin is the author of “The Innovator’s Playbook: Discovering and Transforming Great Ideas Into Breakthrough New Products.” http://theinnovatorsplaybook.com
Kevin has published additional works, including co-authoring a book on mass customization:
- Six Steps to the Future: How Mass Customization is Changing Our World
- SMART Interfaces for Dumb Devices
- Implementing Real-time (Collaborative) Internet Interfaces
